Ah, Sonic the Hedgehog. The reason why I stepped into the 16-Bit gaming era and kept my NES inside the closet. We had a ball playing with the little blue critter, my first game I tried was Sonic 2, with that two-tailed fox which my sister couldnt get enough of. Two player compability, a funny yet deadly boss, clkassy fancy music and replayabiloty to the gazoo.
Then came the cartoons which introducedme into a side of Sonic I wanted to see, yet never thought I would. Some shows were the greatest while others left me in the dark as to why Sonic would have a "sister and a brother" and why he would go into a tour leaving a shapely princess in the woods all by herself, with that lovable Tails which was like the Robin to Batman.
I *might* not discuss the atrocity that was Sonic Underground. Go check to see how bad it was yourself. I will talk mainly about the games and some of the stuff that was done with him until the time when Sonic X kicked fans' asses with its incredibly stupid ideology.
